  maintainers become overwhelmed. Left unchecked\, these patterns can limit
  participation\, slow innovation\, and threaten long-term sustainability.\
 n\n\nThis talk introduces the five pillars of sustainable governance: tran
 sparency\, shared ownership\, succession\, participation\, and accountabil
 ity. Drawing on real-world examples and lessons from the AsyncAPI communit
 y\, we’ll explore common governance anti-patterns and practical approach
 es for building resilient\, community-driven projects.\n\nWhether you’re
  new to AsyncAPI\, an existing contributor\, a maintainer\, or someone bui
 lding another open-source standard community\, you’ll learn practical wa
 ys to identify governance risks\, strengthen contributor pathways\, distri
 bute responsibility\, and create sustainable leadership models.\n\nThe goa
